I searched around previously for unity on opensuse. There was an initially project which appeared to stall(dead?). But this thread states Fedora is getting unity via OBS Ubuntu Unity Ported To Fedora Using openSUSE - Slashdot. Where will that leave Suse and unity?

Nice
Unity would be great with Suse though, gnome apps are better but Gnome3 is just useless it has no workflow about it.
I wouldn’t mind seeing Unity as an option on openSUSE. I prefer it over Gnome-shell, myself. I do hope they’ll change the icon to be distro-specific.
I saw another article about it but didn’t notice the “opensuse” in the repo location. No THAT is open source collaboration (openSUSE build service to bring Unity desktop to Fedora!)!
Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer are probably cringing.

Bill may be cringing, i’d bet Steve is throwing chairs and promising
“Death to SUSE!”…
nothing changes but the names of the players and the pawns in the game.
