openSUSE Tumbleweed перестаёт загружаться после обновления

При переходе с 20171123 на 20171203 (zypper update или zypper dup) система перестаёт грузится.
Диагностики на экране нет (есть несколько строк про acpi, но они появляются и в обычной загрузке).
Жесткий диск постоянно моргает, как будто идёт активная работа(уже 9 часов), на numlock реагирует. В консоль и на другие версии ядра не пускает.
Snapper позволяет откатить на версию до обновления, но попытка установить обновление опять все убивает.

Куда копать? В какие логи лезть?
Может подскажете, из чего имеет смысл багрепорт сформировать?

Пока пишу с рабочего, но готов снять логи с того и выложить сюда.

p.s. Есть подозрение, что это проверка btrfs на / , однако не знаю, как проверить. Да и проверять при загрузке 10 часов немного странно.

Но snapper не показывает изменений в /etc/X11
Т.е. при рабочей конфигурации для этой версии x11-server следующая показывает черный экранчик с ничто?
