openSuse Tumbleweed with kernel-long-term, UKI and secureboot

Hi,

I am in search of a linux distro that is continuous release, UKI based and that supports secureboot. vmware workstation is my main app that I run on my laptop.
I want to try continuous release openSUSE Tumbleweed with kernel-longterm (lts). I currently run a dual boot setup with Windows 11 and Arch. It is easy/automatic to have UKI and fairly easy to sign kernel-lts based UKI on Arch with sbctl tool.
I have to be on lts kernel so that vmware workstation will not need frequent patching/maintenance.

Is it possible to achieve this on Tumbleweed?

I’m new to this forum and sorry if this has been answered before.

Thanks

The SDB mentioned by “exception” was last changed January 2025 but, the author is a SUSE Distribution Engineer – therefore, it’s possibly still OK …

BTW, please note the relationship between SUSE and openSUSE …
