openSUSE-tan wallpaper!

I just finished it (and it is my new wallpaper)!

I think this one ended looking way better than the original, so I hope everyone likes her n__n

In what kind of poses do you want to see her next?

The wallpaper image is from here: File:Bees-knees.png - openSUSE and it was made by Bear454

First off let me say that I do like your work. As a guy, I am less likely to place her on my desktop, but not because your picture does not look nice as it looks very nice. But, may I suggest something that works in the “openSUSE” name and with a lighter background which would allow those of us to see any program icons placed on it. Anyway, you did ask and this is my suggestion and please, keep up the very good work you are doing.

Thank You,

Good job with the new picture!
May I suggest the next pose to be Susie working on something resembling a futuristic version of Yast on a transparent screen. You know… like in those sci-fi movies. I think a good way to promote openSuse is to have her showcasing all the good aspects of the distro.

@jdmcdaniel3 - If you mean changing the background image, I have my drawing without any background, so if you want it I can post it so you can add it to any wallpaper of your choice.

@nkhuong - I think that’s a great idea! I will try to sketch something this weekend then upload it to see what do you think, what do you say?

It looks great!! +1
But I’m agree with a lighter background…

What about a background with a hint of looking like lizard skin?

Since openSUSE wants to be for developers, what about making her a “Maker”, where she could be at a workbench with parts so focused on buildings something (maybe something that looks similar to the SUSE Studiorobot?)

Great job on her! What did you make her in? Inkscape? Gimp? Krtia?

@victorhck - I suck at doing backgrounds, so I will better post the original transparent png here, so anyone can add her to their favorite wallpaper n__n"

@dragonbite - She’s more software-ish (check the idea from nkhuong). I may make a gif of her typing code or something like that (for the devs, you know).

Sadly, I don’t know how to use inkscape correctly (I dislike using the pen to vectorize), so I had to use Flash (which I learnt by myself many years ago). I really want to use an open source program to draw, but I haven’t found any software that lets me modify the lines of the vector as Flash does… If you (or anyone else) can suggest me anything, I will be very happy to try it, I really want to leave the dependence on Flash.

Original, without background:

Thank’s for sharing !! Downloading…

She seems to be lacking the ever present spear that i have seen with the other “Linux-tan” images.

I always wondered what was it doing there in the first place.
