Hello everyone, I am wondering what window manager is best for a kiosk?
My plan is currently in testing phase and what I want to do is create a kiosk OS that will act as a server. The OS will have a user that will ONLY be able to use a web browser. Each PC will have a dummy OS installed and will remotely connect to the server. Which leads me to also ask, does x server allow remote connections to specific sessions?
I want each PC to connect to the server and login as the kiosk user and then have it load the browser and disable all keyboard shortcuts that can gain further access to the system.
Which window manager is best for this and can X run multiple sessions remotely without taking control of the other sessions?
I am new to OpenSuse and still learning unix systems all together. So help will greatly be appreciated.
