opensuse security advices

Hi all,
I am quite new to linux, I started using it on university and installed some linux distros a few month back.
Right now i ended up on openSUSE and i just love it. But i have a question. Could you tell me some advices how to make openSUSE more secure? Not that I would needed it that much, but I like to improve my pc.
I know linux is secure enought, but I would like to make it solid as rock. So do you know any good advice, software or link that can help me improve secure of fresh openSUSE install?
(I tried to find something, but only thing i could do was to encrypth my disk in installation  I tried things like snort, but that dont work on 11.3 or iWatch, but i didnt understand how to configure it or install antivir but there is some issue with missing libdazuko.ko which i cant find anywhere.)
Thanks for any reply.

Don’t auto login
Use strong Passwords
Use different Passwords for user and admin
Don’t store passwords unencrypted
Switch off ssh, or if you use it, change the port from the default

…blah…blah

You can go on and on, but it depends on your use etc…

if you don’t have physical security 24x7x365 then you have no security…

(that is to say: if anyone can start/boot your system without you
knowing it, you have zero security)

What if there were no hypothetical questions?
