What’s going on?

There is currently a problem at download.opensuse.org. It is being worked on.

Many people are having problems. Try again tomorrow.

Well, that sucks!

Tomorrow?!

There appears to be a mirror at provo-mirror.opensuse.org. You can switch the repos over to it with

sed -i -r 's/https?:\/\/download.opensuse.org/http:\/\/provo-mirror.opensuse.org/g' /etc/zypp/repos.d/*

. When it’s working properly again, switch back with

sed -i -r 's/https?:\/\/provo-mirror.opensuse.org/https:\/\/download.opensuse.org/g' /etc/zypp/repos.d/*

Edit: Nevermind, when it tries to download packages, it gets redirected to downloadcontent.opensuse.org, which gives a 500.

Right now, “zypper lu” is giving good output. I have not tried an actual update yet.

May depend on the time zone you live in.

software.opensuse.org is working, also Repos are working.

Thanks, I hope those in the other thread will also notice.

Since writing that, I have done a successful update. It looks as if things are back in working order.
