Opensuse refind issues

so iv been fidling around with secure boot and refind to get it all to work together, after adding all the EFIs and .cer into the bios authorized key list refind works flawlessly now but for some reason if i try to boot opensuse through refind it fails to load shim protocols, but if i boot opensuse directly from bios it works perfectly fine 0 issues with secure boot or grub. would there be any ways to fix this?booting opensuse with refind was also working just fine before the secure boot stuff, i also tried updating opensuse software incase it was outdated but still same issues with refind booting opensuse.

edit: the reason for secure boot is dual booting w11 and linux so i can play ea games like bf1 etc which now require secure boot to be enabled with their new anti cheat

Is there a special reason why you use external refind instead of the distribution supplied solutions like grub2?

im mostly using refind for its aesthetics and ease of customizability

edit: i havnt explored much of other boot managers like grub 2 as i seen that most/ a lot of people tend to go for refind
