Opensuse Live USb

How could I create opensuse LiveUSb I already have openSUSE-11.1-KDE4-LiveCD-i686

UNetbootin - Homepage and Downloads

with this itā€™s easy

It gave an error saying ā€œcouldnā€™t find live cd configuration fileā€ >:(

Are you pointing it to an existing file you already downloaded? If so, has it passed a md5sum check?

I already have download file named openSUSE-11.1-KDE4-LiveCD-i686. will it work with it ? It gave this error on booting;)

It will work. But if you get this error itā€™s suggesting something is wrong.

Where did you get the kde4 .iso? Post the url to the location so I can take a look.

Just try to follow the advice provided by this thread (comment #6) and check
if that works:

Format the usb again.
Try letting Unetbootin use one of the images it can download. See if that works.

Your image means nothing to me really. I asked you for the location of your live cd download so I can go and find the md5sum and then get you to check it.

from here Software.openSUSE.org currently Iā€™m using this link ftp://ftp.ukc.mirrorservice.org/sites/download.opensuse.org/distribution/11.1/iso/openSUSE-11.1-GNOME-LiveCD-i686.iso using metalink with downthemall!

Does Unetbootin work well with any kind of LiveCD?

Iā€™m asking because I donā€™t know :-?

Here there is a list of working and non-working isos:

Did you try the advice Camaleon pointed you to, about substituting the config.isoclient file? Thatā€™s the only way I could find to get it to work.

If youā€™re still having problems, maybe try the unofficial KDE 3.5 live CD / USB image. That can be installed directly with unetbootin, and from there you could put whatever desktop you wanted on top.

I just tried it that is why I posted folder image. Currently I have download openSUSE-11.1-GNOME-LiveCD-i686 and trying to sue it.

I donā€™t have any trouble with any .isoā€™s I have used.

Why not try allowing Unetbootin to download one of the suse .isoā€™s in itā€™s list and try that.
Format the USB first.

At least we can see if itā€™s the .iso or
if itā€™s you just not getting it.
