What is the point? Just a meaningless statement?
Perhaps my english language skills lag competence to understand this your thread …

ulenrich,

Add audiokonverter in openSUSE Linux 11.4

Add the packages: linux-atm-lib, smpppd and WvDial in: Live CD, Live USB or installation DVD…

Add and improve the integration of all programs of the GNOME Office in LXDE/openSUSE Linux 12.1

Among others…

World Domination!

Complement: openSUSE Linux 12.1: Greater variety of packages, all packages in the system and all the repositories (official and unofficial) has to be always stable and updated.

Just one example I checked because I thought this list odd - wvdial

If you use software manager and search for wvdial, guess what!! It’s in the OSS repo. Now if you could download a Live CD you can also download packages after install practically.
If you are truly reliant on dial up, then the openSUSE DVD, either retail box or Magazine cover makes far more sense, and that DVD contains wvdial!
