Hi Everyone… I’m loving opensuse but one thing that is bugging me is the fonts seem smaller/lighter on a lot of things such as pull down menus compared to other distros I have tried. (Such as the firefox menubar). I’m using LDXE Leap 42.1.
Is there an easy way to change that?
I did read this article but it seems to be old so not sure if the “fix” still works. Also not sure if it is a good idea to add third party repos since I don’t want to break anything.

Thanks for your advice!
Well maybe you just need to try other fonts
I was able to make the fonts bigger on the menu bars and panel menu by editing ~/.Xdefaults file and putting a custom dpi (default was 96)
“Xft.dpi: 109”.
Strangely though i’m finding that surfing the web with ldxe seems to strain my eyes more then xfce… I don’t know if it is just in my head frankly, maybe I just have an active imagination:)… but considering switching to using xfce. If it is i’m not sure why there would be much difference.
It is a shame though since I like the swiftness of lxde… xfce is fine but I can definitely feel the extra lightness of lxde.
