OpenSUSE Gnome Theme?

I just installed OpenSUSE 11.1 x64 Gnome on my new laptop. I was disappointed to see that there wasn’t really any SUSE-specific artwork in my installation.

I am fairly certain that, when I installed the 32-bit version in VirtualBox (which I only got working until I rebooted VBox, then it wouldn’t load - so I am working from a distant memory), that there was a SUSE theme, which included a menu ball, etc.

On my 64-bit version, however, the menu simply says “Computer” and doesn’t have any SUSE-specific artwork other than the wallpaper.

Am I missing something? Is there a package I need to install in order to get that artwork? I would love to replace “Computer” with a nice little SUSE icon, at least. I’m sure there are other thee items I’d like to add.

I’ve had a look at Gnome-look, and found some nice themes that I could use, but I’d like to at least get the little menu ball if at all possible.

Also - on a side note, why are some of my panel items locked with no apparent way to unlock them? I want my main panel at the top of the screen, with a “quicklaunch” type bar at the bottom.

EDIT - I just found this theme on Gnome-look that seems to include the SUSE menu ball - I’ll download it and check it out. http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/BluePlanet+?content=105060

I don’t use Gnome but the Desktop Config should offer different themes for you, and what are you offered with right click on the ‘Computer’ button, can you change the menu style there.

Perhaps you don’t have these packages installed;

| desktop-data-openSUSE-extra-gnome | Dynamic Wallpaper with openSUSE Look | package
| gnome-menus-branding-openSUSE | openSUSE branding of gnome-menus | package

There are various “branding” packages that you can install to give it either the upstream (developer) or openSuSE (our lil’ gecko) look.
