I have been experience slow responses from openSUSE forums, and sometimes time-outs.
When a time-out occurs, I have to go to the forum’s home page, where I appear logged out. Then, I click on ‘Login | Register’ and i get logged in without being asked for my credentials.
This problem occurs on my desktop (both on openSUSE and windows 7), on a laptop I got for extra test (also running openSUSE 12.1 clean install), and on a desktop in another place (running windows 7, and connects through a different ISP).
Other pages seem to be working properly (no delays and time-outs). Is there something I can do or should check ?

it is not your machine, nor your router, or ISP…the forums have been
somewhere between completely broken to slow and unreliable for
weeks…maybe months…
it seems someone somewhere decided to out-source the care and feeding of
the forums.opensuse.org stuff to some contract host somewhere…
the good news is that so far nntp has been available FAR more often than
the http interface…so, if you post that way you will usually get a
fast response no matter if the web side works or not…
Yes, we do have problems with performace some time and being (not) loged in while you where thing you were in the oopsite state rather often.
The staff is very aware of this (after all many of them try to be onlne as much as possible and are frustrated while trying this).
The staff also tries to get hold of these problems.
And next time please post a problem in the functioning of the forums in the subforum Forums Support/Information. After your own analisys, you did not realy conclude that your timeout problem was in your sysems didn’t you?
