openSUSE firewall settings for SAMBA

I understand that I posted on this topic earlier Firewall Problem with Samba - openSUSE Forums, but I’m having problems when setting up Samba. When I disable the firewall, I am able to browse all the windows shares on my network. I have opened the ports as outlined in the link above. However, I am unable to access my shares when the firewall is enabled.

Is there something I’m missing? Thanks in advance.

This HowTo should explain better. The actual procedure depends a bit on the
version of OpenSuSE you are using.
http://opensuse.swerdna.org/susefirewall.html

If this does not get the job done, post back and include your OpenSuSE
version.

I apologize for failing to mention that I’m using opensuse 11.2

Swerdna’s HOWTO did the trick, thanks a lot.
