Hi All,
I installed 11.3 on two disk uisng mdraid.
The system is booting fine. So no I like to simulate a disk failure and remove one of the identical disk.
The system will no start the /dev/mdX devices when one site of the mirror is missing.
/usr/share/doc/mdadm/README.recipes.gz
If the array is started at boot time by the kernel (partition type 0xfd),
you can force-assemble it by passing the kernel boot parameter
md-mod.start_dirty_degraded=1
but that dosen’t work.
Any idea how to boot of one side of the mirror ?
