If I install OpenSuse fresh in a VMware player, everything works fine. However, if I shut down OpenSuse and exit VMware player, when I relaunch player and OpenSuse, I lose the internet.
I may get initial information about updates being available but when it comes to downloading the updates, I receive errors that the system could not connect. Any browsing through Firefox, Konqueror or Google Chrome results in pages not found.
This behaviour happens if I use Bridged (without Replicate physical network connection state) or NAT for sharing the network adapter.
Oddly, this only happens with OpenSuse. Using Ubuntu with KDE or Gnome and there is no problem.
Anyone have a solution?
