A friend of mine is looking for an easy to use Linux distro, and I’d like to suggest openSUSE 13.2 to him. I know 13.2 isn’t released yet, but he won’t want to re-install, and 13.2 fixes some issues that are present in 13.1 that might give him a bad impression. A few questions:
Will the RC1 installation smoothly upgrade to the GM release when it comes out?
He’ll need to install a few things from different OBS repos. For now while on the RC, what OBS repos should be used? 13.1 or Factory?
Yes, most probably. (you never can rule out problems with something like this… )
At least there’s no need to change the main repos any more, they point to the 13.2 incarnation already (which are just links to factory-snapshot at the moment).

Factory I’d say. 13.2 is nearly the same as Factory right now, 13.1 is very far off.
But better change the URLs to openSUSE_13.2 as soon as they are available.
Otherwise he might run into dependency problems soon after the release. (depending on what repos you mean exactly of course)
