openSuse 13.2 install not detecting partition with btrfs

Hello,

I am transitioning from a long time Ubuntu system to Opensuse 13.2. One of my btrfs partitions that was working fine in Ubuntu (latest - utopic) was not recognized during the installation. I proceeded anyway hoping to debug the mount later. Now, running “btrfs check --repair” on the device still gets me nowhere:

sudo btrfs check --repair /dev/sdd2
enabling repair mode
No valid Btrfs found on /dev/sdd2
Couldn’t open file system

Is there any way for me to force Suse to recognize this device. I would like to avoid formatting the partition since it is the single largest partition with no option for backup! Please help! Thanks.

Hello

Maybe there is some useful information for you on this opensuse 13.2 review: http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/opensuse-13-2.html

Other than that you may need to use a tool like parted or gparted to fix the partitioning / mount.
