Hello,
My question is related to the missing systray icons in Plasma 5. I have been reading around and installed different packages to make icons to appear: sni-qt, sni-qt-32bits, libappindicator1, libappindicator3-1, libindicator3-7 and libindicator7. Some programs appear in the systray bar, such as Thunderbird (FireTray extension) and Skype. However, there are others that do not, for instance Dropbox.
The point is than in other distributions this works, for example Dropbox in Fedora 22 / Plasma 5, have a look at the second comment here, https://www.dropboxforum.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/205799705-Experimental-Build-3-9-41. In this case it is only required the libappindicator-gtk3 package to make it works, which I understand it is the libappindicator31 in openSUSE.
Any idea why this does not work in OpenSUSE 13.2?
Thank you and best regards,
Javier.
