openSUSE 13.1 Package Manager lists packages twice

Hi ! Package manager is listing every package twice when I use View>Package Groups .Installed packages list once. How do I get the uninstalled packages to only list once?

Thank you

Try as root rpm–rebuilddb

That won’t help, since it is about the not installed packages.

And I see the problem as well here:

Strange, that the size doesn’t match for the duplicated packages…

Looks like a bug in YaST and should be reported:
http://bugzilla.novell.com/

I will do so and report back the bug number.

Apparently one entry is the 32bit version of the package, the other one the 64bit version.

I will do so and report back the bug number.

Hi wolfi .Thanks for reporting this .Do I need to report it too, or is your report enough ?

You can add a “me too” to the report, so that they know that more people
are affected.

I don’t see this issue on GTK version of YaST

GNOME 3.10.1
openSUSE 13.1 (Bottle) (x86_64) 64-bit
Kernel Linux 3.11.6-4-desktop

I’m not on the computer that I have openSUSE installed on right now but later I’ll try to check that out.Is that an alternative version of Yast?
