I can not access the Libroffice repository in Buildservice, Yast. Apper.
Seems the directories are empty.
Is this temporary or ended support for OpenSuse 13.1 Libroffice ?
How can I contact the maintainer ?
13.1 was evrgreen (3 years) - has this past already ?
Yes, thank you.
Maybe I did not see this or it was temporary empty.
I removed libreoffice4 and its repo.
Installation of libreoffice 5 seems to be Ok but still has dependency problems.
Something with google-carlito-fonts and some other packages.
I can not copy/paste from yast error messages (why), so I do not paste here.
After 1st trial of install libreoffice 5 I get
“Missing vcl resource. This indicates that files vital to localization are missing. You might have a corrupt installation.”
I would say this above is also a dependency problem of the repo, but I 'm not sure at all.
Anyway, no working office now
Not running 13.1 anymore here, so the best I can provide are blind suggestions…
I pointed to the 64bit repo; if you are running a 32bit system you should get LibreOffice accordingly from the 32bit repo;
LO 5.0.x is the default for Leap, maybe some dependencies were not (yet) backported to 13.1 by the Evergreen team?
google-carlito-fonts is available from the Leap 42.1 OSS repo: an example of the above?
maybe you are missing a matching version of libreoffice-l10n-en (or whatever locale you are using)?
And, if everything else fails, you can still install the upstream version from libreoffice.org which is distro-agnostic and can even live side-by-side with the OpenSUSE packaged version since it is installed to the /opt/ directory.
