i hope that everyone here don’t kill me BUT if you can’t wait just one more day i google i find the final version. you can download it from here :
openSUSE 12.3 is still not released.
This will be movbed top the Pre-release/Beta forum and is CLOSED for the moment.
Moved from Install/Boot//Login and open again.
There was something mentioned on the factory mailing list, about build 110 being the last build (presumably the final release).
On my main desktop, where I am typing this response, I just used “zypper dup” to bring my RC2 system to the final release version. It seems to be running fine. But I’ll install on other systems from the DVD, because I want to find out whether there are glitches when installing from scratch.
It appears they have locked that down. I get a 404 forbidden error, maybe it has been overwhelmed lol!.

Yes. The 0110 is the build number, and Build 0110 is 12.3 Gold Master - i.e. the
version that will be released.
The deltas are still there, if you have a RC2.
i think it because i publish it they block it .sorry .
The dvd openSUSE-12.3-DVD-x86-_64 0110
The installer makes errors on a raid0 array set in mobo bios.
The partitioner sees the array hole array in 3 patitions /boot swap and /
Changing grub2 to grub from /boot to MBR
I get errors thet the array is not reconnized
I had to to set it the the right partition
when it want to format the array i get error 3030
back to 12.2
The last time I tried “zypper dup” it broke my system. Luckily I hadn’t done much with it beforehand so I didn’t lose anything vital. I might try it again, but I’m a little more leery this time.
The problem is, unless I purchase a DVD, getting a DVD is not the easiest process. At home it takes me approximately 15 hours to download a DVD! Although, maybe I can sneak my laptop into work and piggyback on the wireless network… >:)
I guess that’s a risk. I was upgrading from RC2, so the differences were small and the likelihood of breakage was small.
When I was on a slow network, I purchased the DVDs rather than trying to download them. The result was that I upgraded maybe a couple of weeks after everybody else. On the plus sign, by then I already had heard about the likely problems.
They didn’t block anything. I’m downloading 12.3 right now, even though the main page still says “Release in 4 hours”.
I went to the main download page and clicked on the link for 12.2 (http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/12.2/iso/openSUSE-12.2-DVD-i586.iso), and simply changed both instances of “12.2” to “12.3”, and it worked. It’s not really that much of a surprise, because common sense tells you that it’s already sitting there in its final form ready to go. It’s not like they’re still making changes to it in the middle of the night with just 4 hours until the official release.
But it looks like opensuse.org doesn’t have much upstream bandwidth because I’m only getting 1.3 MB/sec, and if my connection is maxed out, I should be getting nearly triple that amount.
That is about 10-12 megabitts/sec. That is my nomal rate, and better than many users have. Good to hear, otherwise you might be causing everyone else to get a lot less.
openSUSE has been finalized for a few days already. openSUSE produces something called the Gold Master which they distribute to reviewers and developers about 5 days ahead of time as a reward for their assistance or to help build media hype. If you find an iso on any of the major services and its not labelled as RC2 then you have the gold master. Its super easy to find if you look.
Do the devs mind us using the GM? Not really. Should we use them? No. Let the devs enjoy the perks of their hard work and wait a couple of minutes
Downloaded and have the Torrent running now in the US, looks like they let us have it a few minutes early as its only 9:30am. :) The download itself may not be finished for another hour but oh well.

All open now, and overloaded
The download page does not open or does so very slowly.
Aria2c downloading at 1.5MB/s, I’d like to have it before going out on
travel. My network is much slower at the other location.
The XFCE rescue image has disappeared from the main page, though, but it
is available on the directory.

I downloaded both DVD’s yesterday and am seeding both now at 1.2-1.3 MB. But I must say downloads have become much slower recently and I can’t see any reason for that on my side. Big Brother?
Here is a link to Dropbox with theKDE torrent files, that is all I have at the moment. If someone does use them please let me know if there are any problems with them.
No, Big Mother, throttling to make it fairer for the many not the few [Dutch]?
