Is there anything new and exciting in it yet -or- is it essentially a copy of the released 12.2???

Nearly every package has been updated since 12.2. From a kde point of view it includes 4.9.1

Speed wise it feels faster which is down to glibc 2.16

hy guys
64-bit does not install on system with ATI FireMV 2200 PCI installed. Install begins after video card is removed and onboard video is enabled.
