I need to send an email from within a script, obviously without any user intervention. I have tried KMail but I cannot get it to work completely unattended.
Some friends have suggested other email clients but my ISPs email server requires smtp authentication which has presented a stumbling block 
I would be very grateful for any help or suggestions.
