openSUSE 12.3 + KDE + Align to grid does not work in Grid Desktop mode

Hi
I just upgraded to KDE4, after reboot it wiped out all the widgets on the desktop and the panel, so I deleted my whole profile and recreated it. When I set the Desktop to Grid Desktop and started adding the widgets back on the desktop, it is really hard to move them in place and they do no longer align to grid, I can’t find any setting to enable align to grid. Is this a bug?

I meant I upgraded to opensuse 12.3. Seems like the grid desktop in KDE 4.10 is really unstable.
