OpenSUSE 12.3 and internet

I just installed 12.3 KDE and no longer have any internet connectivity. I was previously running 11.4 and it was working fine. In the past, after installing, I had access to the internet without having to do anything. Relatively new user and not sure what I’m missing…any help/assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks

2.2. No Network after Installation
Directly  after installation, NetworkManager is not started automatically . To enable networking  reboot the  machine once manually.
