I recently built a new computer using the AMD A6-3670 APU with Radeon™ HD Graphics. The open source kernel driver works well enough to get the system installed and running but everything on the screen is somewhat elongated. The AMD proprietary drivers are much better.
The procedure I followed to install these drivers under openSUSE 12.1 did not work when I upgraded to 12.2. Here is a link to a one-click driver installation for 12.2 that worked well for me:
Maybe it will be helpful to others who may encounter the same stumbling block.
One question for the pros here: to use this method, i had to install a repository that I am not sure about. Is it safe? Should I remove it or leave it active on my system?
