openSUSE 12.2 Nvidia GTS 250 Video Glitch Issue???

Got a older computer that just installed openSUSE 12.2 with a NVIDIA GTS 250 Video Card. System works great while I am in the live part of the LIVE x64 iso I burnt to a CD, but when I install it and the system reboots, the GUI works fine, but I have no network. Then I reboot again after the first desktop shows after install, and the video glitches out and I can’t hardly do anything with the system. I can see a mouse cursor, but it is a block, no wallpaper, just a bunch of messed up blocks like the video card going bad or something? How do I fix this? Can’t use apps or anything because the graphics messed up so bad!

Boot to openSUSE using the nomodeset option, this will give you a low-res screen.
From there, install the Nvidia drivers using the one-click-install and you should be good to go.

Worked like a charm after I figured out how to boot into that mode! Installed the Nvidia drivers and now works great!
