my laptop (opensuse 12.2) hibernate when I am browsing in internet. How can I switch this function off?

what is your battery state? i ask because it sounds like you are about
out of battery and shutting down…

plug it in, and then check the Power Management settings in your
Personal Settings/Configure Desktop
