After mounting a Flash-Stick (aka Thumbdrive) I can click on the USB Widget and it has a [Safe-to-Remove] button.
The Flash-Sticks I use have a power LED, but AFTER clicking [Safe-to-Remove] the power is still ON :dont-know:
Is this normal? Shouldn’t the power be turned off? Both Windoz and Linux Mint 10 (when I had that installed) did this.
If you have been copying info to or from it. When it’s done there will be a notification.
Though in kde I find it faulty and you have to watch for the LED of the USB stop working.
Mine stay on too, but stop flashing when all is done.
In Gnome it works fine.

The led doesn’t work correctly in Linux for many models.
