Have you tried a text mode install?

Yes I did! From the final release DVD, LiveCD and USB. I had the same problem with all versions :frowning:
Also I had the same problem when I had updated from 11.4 to 12.1 :X

Did you try a ‘dup’ from 11.4 to 12.1

dup what?? What is it? I’m new in using Linux.

From a 11.4 install
Change to 12.1 repos: Oss, Non-Oss, Updates

Open a terminal and as su -

zypper dup

Ah ok! But this happend automaticly. I saw it during the installation! But with the update was my last option. At first i had tested a new installation.

I typically run ‘dup’ from a console login

Login and then become su -

then do

zypper dup

Disconnect the dvd drive and restart your computer. You may have just got an unproper shutdown.
