Opensuse 12.1 End of life??

hi there just wnt to know if opensuse 12.1 end of life because in here :

Lifetime - openSUSE

its under the list “supported distributions” but its -8 days
soo its EOL ?

Why do you ask? It is there, written on an official openSUSE page. and isn’t May 15th 2013 8 days ago?

you are correct, the page is out of date! openSUSE 12.1 should be
listed under the heading of “Discontinued distributions” rather than
under “Supported distributions”

12.1 went end-of-life on the date specified…

Wrong. 12.1 is still officially supported, till the official
discontinuation email is sent by Marcus Meissner on the
opensuse-announce mail list.

I asked about this in the project list, it is still under a bit of
support. It will be soon over, but not yet - officially, that is.

then Marcus (or someone) should change the wiki page’s date to
whatever the new date was, is, or will be.

The date there is just an estimate

The actual date changes. Sometimes they stop support months before the
date, rejecting any bugzillas on it as “wontfix” directly. I complained
about that I don’t remember with which version, it was not long ago, 1
or 2 years.

What I don’t see is why we don’t get the announcement published here.
I’ll wait a bit and post it myself later.
