openSUSE 12.1 doesn't boot after installation

Hi, I have installed openSUSE 12.1 with net installation, could login into KDE. But then, after reboot my computer says, there is no bootable media. I reinstalled openSUSE, but it gives the same error.

Partition setup was automatically done with ext4 and had no errors. Any ideas?

Is that the exact error message you get? To me it looks like your BIOS is
set to boot only from the cd/dvd drive.

No, it’s not the BIOS problem. The boot order is set to 1. usb, 2. hdd(ssd) and I didn’t change it.

There are no error messages in the installation process. Just it can’t boot after first reboot.

The SSD was partitioned with GPT before installing openSUSE. Can it be a problem?

Yes. legacy Grub does not understand GPT formating. Maybe try LILO

Thx! I have destroyed the GPT scheme, reinstalled openSUSE 12.1 and it boots like a chram.

Thx for the answer.
