OK, just did a fresh install of openSUSE 12.1 on my laptop (had Linux Mint 10).
Lunix Mint 10 had a Menu Editor that allowed editing/addin of the launch menu entries.
Does openSUSE 12.1 have an equivalent? I need to add an app launcher that I extracted from GZ package.
The package is “Rainlander lite” by the way.
Also, does openSUSE 12.1 have a utility that will RUN a .deb package (just click the file and in installs package)?

Are we to assume you installed Gnome desktop? Since you were using Mint
it seems a logical assumption?!
openSUSE 12.1 uses Gnome 3 and it is quite different to Mint 10
Once you clarify your details, we may be able to help
Found out how to edit launcher. Right-click App Launcher.
Sorry, that’s all I really needed :shame:
