Opensuse 11 Yast only has Hardware menu...nothing else

I would like to have the user interface in security so i can manage users on the server and for the ftp

but all i have in yast is Hardware options

Open a terminal and see if using the CLI interface you can navigate to the YaST module you require:

yast

If you still only see the hardware menu do a search in zypper and look to see which modules you actually have installed:

zypper search yast2

In the search, it definitely shows both security and users

do i need to reinstall the yast2 gui?
