I was a little angry and disapointed that opensuse 11 don’t have this for me very essential package. But I think it’s because a bug that it won’t compile with gcc4.3.
you need to add the packman repository to get access to a SUSE rpm for rtorrent.
go to yast
click software, then software repositories
click add ( down left)
choose specify url
next
name: packman
url : Index of /suse/11.0
click next and finish
then go to yast>software again, choose software management.
here, search for rtorrent
you should find 3 results, the first being rtorrent, the other 2 debug info and debug source.
just install rtorrent.
after all this, don’t forget to get the example .rtorrent.rc script to config the client propperly.
