I’m trying to install openSUSE into my vmware workstation 6.0.4. The install goes great, but when installed I can not change resolution. So I tried installing the vmwaretools and it says it can not because of the openvmtools, and I can also not uninstall the openvmtools because of some dependensi.
I then reinstalled and removed the openvmtools from the install. Now the vmware tool install was ok, but now I have to release the mouse and still can’t change resolution.
So is there anyone that have a howto on installing openSUSE 11 on VMWare and get it working with higher res?
