opensuse 11 sound problem

i just installed opensuse 11 on my system from the suse live cd. evrything except the sound seems to work fine. i dont get any sound from the laptop. YaST sound config says it is

82801FB/FBM/FR/FW/FRW (ICH6 Family) AC’97 Audio Controller
sound card. i cant figure it out.

please help!
