I’m running Suse 11 on my 900 without any problems
(see Pale Heretic: Installing OpenSUSE 11 on an EeePC 900 for install process)
We have now got a couple of 901s for the office for client teams to use in meetings and the first thing I’ve done with one of them is to install Suse on it.
All works fine and the same install process documented above will sort out the display and get you a working install apart from one crucial thing: network drivers.
The 901 has a different NIC and WIFI from the 900. Yast tells me that the system has an Attansic Ethernet controller, but I can’t find an posts / records / drivers for a successful setup.
Any help much appreciated!
