Hi,
Few months ago I tried to install openSUSE 10.3 from the hdd. Back then I had Vista Ultimate and Ubuntu 7.10 on my PC. I mounted the 10.3 image with Deamon Tools and ran the installer from Vista. After the reboot it directly loaded the installer, showed some weird error (I don’t really remember it) and rebooted again. And the worst thing was that it totaly messed up the MBR.
So, my question is, can I install openSUSE 11.0 from the HDD (I have only Vista installed now) without MBR changes and NO Grub (I use EasyBCD)? Oh, I forgot, I don’t have CD/DVD-ROM and FLOPPY.
Thanks to everyone that will help
