openSUSE 11.4 x86_64 install problem with Asus M2N68-AM Plus MB

According to the manual the chipset is:
GeForce 7025 / NVIDIA nForce 630a

During the install the screen becomes an unreadable mess.
Apparently 11.4 is not compatible with this MB/graphics chipset.
Is there a way to make this work? I would like to move from 11.1 to 11.4.

Help greatly appreciated.

Try pressing F3 here

And when you’re done installing the system, install the nvidia proprietary driver:


su -l
zypper in ftp://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/11.4/  nvidia
zypper refresh -r nvidia
zypper in x11-video-nvidiaG02

Did you try installing with “nomodeset” (no quotes) at the boot screen?
