I have a PC with 512 MB of RAM, and I have a GB of Swap space. After a few MB into SWAP, it likes to crash. It’s probably a bug, tell the developers!
How to i make it read all the swap it needs when all the RAM is used up?

Hi
Much better to search here to see if a bug exists, if not create one

What do you mean it “likes to crash”? What are the symptoms?
To test if this is a general problem, I booted my 11.4 M5 sandbox with 400M of
memory and ran a lot of applications. Other than being sluggish as expected, it
worked fine. The ‘free’ command showed:
larry@linux-9m4a:~> free
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 389080 383480 5600 0 1696 95948
-/+ buffers/cache: 285836 103244
Swap: 2097184 220760 1876424
As you can see, I am using 220 MB of swap. This system is 32-bit.
