Aber ich arbeite im UHD und da ist dann abends immer iwie das Hirnschmalz alle.
Also, das Notebook hat entweder eine Intel-WLAN-Karte oder Broadcom. Bin mir da jetzt nicht so sicher.
Bisher war auf dem Gerät Win 7 und Ubuntu 11.04. WLAN funzte unter beiden out of the Box.
Win nutzt mein Mädchen eh nie und Ubuntu wurde ihr am Schluss zu strange und lief auch irgendwie immer instabiler.
Also gedacht, machst die gute Susi drauf.
So, LAN läuft von Anfang an ohne Probleme. Network-Manager lässt das Kästchen “Drahtlosnetzwerk aktivieren” ausgegraut. Habe natürlich trotzdem im Network-Manager meine Drahtlos-Verbindung eingetragen. - ohne Erfolg.
Ebenfalls im Yast habe ich mal auf traditionelle Methode mit “ifup” umgestellt. Ging auch nicht.
Der Lappi hat auch nen Hardware-WLAN-Schalter, welcher auf ON steht. Die FN-Kombi hat auch nicht geholfen…
Ich denke ja es liegt an der Firmware. Packman-Repo ist eingebunden und wireless-tools sind installiert. Da bisher mit WLAN bei mir und bei ihr immer alles lief hab ich auch keine Ahnung wie das mit diesem NDISWRAPPER läuft. Habe zumindest für die 11.4 keine griffige Anleitung gefunden.

Das scheint so ein kombiniertes Bluetooth/Wlan zu sein…
Genau da lag der Hase im Pfeffer!
Und in deinem Link stand dann auch der rettende Befehl: rfkill unblock all
Damit ging dann schonmal wieder die WLAN-LED an und das Netzwerk musste nur noch frisch konfiguriert werden.
Rechner mal zur Sicherheit aus und wieder an. Und siehe da, alles startet so wie es soll.
