I just installed SuSe 11.3. On the whole, it works very well. However, just as with 11.2, I am still unable to hibernate using KDE and have to switch to su and use pm-hibernate. In addition, I am wondering what happened to sax2. In fact, I have found no program for adjusting the settings for either the monitor or video card. Lastly, I am sorry to find that the installation disk no longer has the repair option which was available in earlier versions. Does anyone know why it was removed?
Sax2 is no longer needed because the XServer those this by itself. I use
krandrtray (or xrandr) to add an external monitor.
I’m not sure how well this works with Nvidia or Ati graphic cards, but for
my onboard graphic ship it’s perfect.
And hibernating works out of the box for me (11.2 and 11.3).

It was no longer working nor being actively maintained.
