Hi All,
The touch pad, model: “SynPS/2 Synaptic TouchPad”, of Fujitsu life book T5010 is not working. I have added the line 'Option “TapButton1” “1” ’ in 20-synaptics.conf file, as was suggested in previous threads, but still not working. 
Was it working during the install from the DVD or in the live CD session?
To be more accurate, the curser moves by moving the finger on the touch pad, but hitting on the pad does not function as the left-click of the mouse. I also checked the Kde-live, and the result was the same.
one further point: touch pad works perfect on login screen.
I fixed the problem. 
Procedure: Startup -> Applications -> Configure Desktop -> keyboard & mouse -> TouchPad -> Touchpad configuration -> Tapping -> Tapping with one finger: Left mouse button.
By default it was disabled.
