For me it’s kind of a sleazy Vegas look.

Have you seen the new 11.3 theme and artwork. To me it’s very SLED.
It looks a little dated to me. I would prefer a more modern font and am not really fond of the neon look.

I used gimp and alpha to logo effects(blended-neon-alien glow-basic II-…)

It was my topic, nobody interested in huh?

I would go with a green background and white/silver letters. That seems more consistent with the current look.
I think it is alright, I would like to see whether it looks good when printed.
