openSUSE 11.3 RC1 Gnome: Adding KDE

I have a happily-running 11.3 RC1 Gnome installation, from DVD Build 675. I would like to add KDE, preferably 4.4.4, although the DVD is loaded with 4.4.3. Can this be done in one pass, or should I add 4.4.3 from the DVD, then upgrade to 4.4.4 ?

(11.3 RC1 replaced an 11.2 KDE & Gnome base on one of two laptops). The current 11.3 RC1 platform is: Gateway MX7340, 1GB, 250GB HD, Intel 855GM, BCM4318 (aka “Air Force One”) wireless.

Done and functional! A few minor things need tidying, but the positives are great! The problem(s) with touchpads/tapping is sorted. The only serious problem was the display behaved poorly at first, with flashing and overlays. Unchecking “desktop effects” and all is once again behaving.

I will be looking into the desktop effects soon.

Thanks!
