OpenSuse 11.3 Installer packagemanager load in analyze software failes every time, tried 2 disks

so I install and it analyzes hardware gets to the last step and i get this:

YaST2
unable to create repository
from url cd:/?devices=/dev/sr0

details
failed to mount
cd:///?devices=/dev/sr0 on /var/adm/mount/AP_0x00000001 Mounting media failed

Ive tried several times from 2 installs and it always failes…any ideas?

So the number one cause is a bad CD/DVD or it has a big finger print on it and second is a bad CD/DVD ROM drive. If this is a desktop, the drive could be full of dust and needs to be cleaned out. I suggest making a new CD/DVD (if you have not already done so) and/or cleaning out the CD/DVD ROM drive and trying again. If this is a desktop and it is older than one year, then the CD/DVD ROM drive could even have gone bad, but dust and a bad CD/DVD disk is the most likely cause.
