OpenSuse 11.3 install over the internet

Hello,

I currently have OpenSuse 11.2 installed and thought I’ll do an upgrade to 11.3 over the internet. So I downloaded the network install iso, burnt the CD and tried to boot with that. Everything goes OK, but the network connection doesn’t happen (DHCP fails).

I usually connect to the network by a high-speed dialup DSL connection (PPPoE) wherein it requires my username/passwd.

I was wondering how the boot CD can take these authentication details for the DSL dialup. I couldn’t find any place where I can provide these details either.

Any help/pointers would be great.

Thanks.

Do you normally do a net install?

Have you considered:
