After upgrade from 11.2 suddenly the NM applet disappear or would not get loaded. As a message appear upon rebooting and login saying Network Manager applet couldn’t find the required resources.
Please help as I can’t start my wifi wireless connection unless I get the applet started.

I managed to solve this problem. Basically, go to command line nm-connection-editor and ensure that I put the correct router password.
and also add to the panel the Notification area… and this works. I found a thread that says that this is the solution.

Most of us are puzzled that you would upgrade to 11.3, which is long past its support period.
